The Process

1

Discovery

We will ask questions about your relationship with money, your family, career, and background. Guide you through discovery exercises to facilitate your own discovery of your aspirations. We'll begin discussing short- and long-term goals.

Your role: to be honest with us and yourself in your answers. Ask questions and stay engaged.

2

Organize

We will prove you with an organized list of items to prepare for the meeting, then get you setup to import your accounts to our financial planning software to begin reviewing and categorizing transactions so we can see your entire financial life in one picture.

Establish your risk tolerance and capacity, start to review your student loans, and insurance coverages.

3

Goals

We now have a preliminary chart of where you sit and can provide a snapshot of your net worth, spending and savings, and recommendations for any immediate problems.

Linking the above with your ideal course, we will summarize your goals and make adjustments where needed and anchor them back to measurable financial milestones.

4

Plan

With your goals outlined it's time to align your spending/money with your ideal direction so you can achieve your goals on or ahead of schedule.

We will create a spending plan with this all in mind, begin implementing short and medium term action items and make any professional introductions when necessary (CPA, Attorney, Insurance)

5

Maintain

We will assess the progress we have made and review your individualized financial plan for the coming year. The To-do list will be updated to reflect completed and outstanding items, road blocks, addressed and next steps identified.

Your plan is not moored in place, it can be easily adjusted as life takes new tacks or the unexpected comes up. This is just the beginning of the voyage, and our support continues until you reach your goals.

Once your initial plan is established we will meet at least three times per year to ensure you are on course. We will check that you are completing any items you have agreed to and are making the necessary adjustments to reach your goals.
